Their day began with an emotional \u2018first look\u2019 followed by their civil ceremony in Wandsworth Town Hall, London. Finishing the afternoon with an intimate outdoor meal with their closest loved ones, this laid-back couple\u2019s chic, stylish wedding embodied the \u2018no frills\u2019 celebration that so many couples are seeking to \u2018tradition\u2019, not only in guest numbers, but also bridal attire, Hannah + Charlie\u2019s petit celebration was intimate, emotional and relaxed. Having been set up on a blind date 8 years ago through a mutual friend and living in the Big Smoke (where they had their first date in a bar in Clapham), London was always going to be the location of choice for their wedding day. In fact, it was in their home city of London where Charlie\u2019s monumentally romantic proposal took place with the grandest of gestures, executed in the most subtle of ways. \u201cWe went to an art gallery in Battersea, local to us to see an exhibition, and we were looking at one particular set of drawings that looked oddly very similar to Charlie&#8217;s own (he&#8217;s a very talented draughtsman). I commented on how he should seriously think about getting his work up in a gallery and soon began to notice the images were significant and each represented moments in time in our relationship. The final drawing was covered, and lifting up the veil was a drawing of a ring. Prior to their intimate ceremony, the couple exchanged a \u2018first look\u2019 which they hadn\u2019t originally planned for, but their photographer and good friend Ela (<a href=\"https:\/\/et-photography.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">E.T Photography<\/a>) proposed the idea. \u201cEla is a very close friend of mine, and I met her several years ago through work. She&#8217;s got such a wonderful eye and her style was exactly what we wanted for our photos &#8211; candid, thoughtful and beautifully captured. A \u2018first look\u2019 was Ela&#8217;s suggestion and we&#8217;re so glad we did it. She orchestrated the moment perfectly &#8211; I had to access the square via an old tunnel, Charlie was standing at the other end with his back to me and turning around and facing each other was so emotional and such a happy moment.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section and I loved watching his creations as I grew up. He made a lot of striking things for my Mum also and growing up seeing her wear the suits he made, I thought it was the height of cool and always wanted to own a tuxedo suit for myself!\u201d With the addition of sunglasses, a small beaded bag and a delicate bouquet of pink and white roses, Hannah\u2019s tailored bridal style was chic, relaxed and minimal, mirroring the style of the day itself. emotional first look, Hannah + Charlie made their way to Wandsworth Town Hall where their guests met them for their ceremony. Originally planned for May, the couple had to postpone their first date due to Covid restrictions. The characterful Grade II listed building boasting original art deco design and a grand marble hall, set the beautiful scene for their vows and \u201cI do\u2019s\u201d. It was following their intimate ceremony that one of Hannah\u2019s most memorable moments unfolded. \u201cWalking out of Wandsworth Town Hall hand in hand and being cheered by our families with the confetti flying stands out the most. It was so nice to have both our families together after such a long year of distance and gloom &#8211; seeing all the smiling faces was overwhelmingly Charlie\u2019s intimate group of closest family and loved ones, 14 in total, wholly embraced the micro wedding \u2018trend\u2019 as they wandered the short distance to London Stock in the Ram Quarter. Basking in the summer sunshine, they dined outdoors on one large, long table under the covered terrace. \u201cAfter our parents left, we went to our local pub, The Candlemakers in Battersea High Street and had a very messy session in the company of some amazing locals who cheered as we arrived, still dressed in our wedding wares! And of course the night finished with a very classy takeaway pizza and we collapsed on the
