doorstep was the meeting point for her and Richard\u2019s first rendezvous, a blind \u2018Tinder\u2019 date as Emma reveals \u201cI was actually at university in Manchester but came back to my family home in Solihull especially for the date as Richard lived just 10 minutes from there &#8211; we still aren\u2019t sure how we popped up on each other\u2019s Tinder date radars when we were living 90 miles apart &#8211; we think it was just meant to be! A beautiful emerald engagement ring had caught Emma\u2019s eye at her favourite jewellers \u201cI was thrilled when Richard suggested I try it on (he didn\u2019t believe I really wanted an emerald over a diamond!) A few weeks later Richard appeared in the garden wearing a suit where I was sat drinking a gin and tonic in the sun and just got on one knee and popped the question with the ring I had fallen in love with! It was perfect and just lovely to be at home where we had first met and somewhere special to us both but very intimate and In the dining room, sliced logs upon which candles and miniature golden pumpkins sat amongst rich red and dusky pink florals and greenery which lined the length of the intimate table setting. Emma trusted Karen to take the creative reigns and use her artistic license to style the spaces \u201cThe results were beyond anything I ever would have come up with myself! The library room was so stunning I cried when I saw designer Savannah Miller for her wedding dress \u2013 \u201cI knew I wanted sleeves of some sort and ideally lace but I just didn\u2019t want to spend thousands of pounds as logically I couldn\u2019t escape from thinking it would be a waste for something I\u2019d wear once when I could put the money towards other elements of the day and honeymoon. Also as the wedding was all arranged in a couple of months and I was so busy at work I didn\u2019t have time to go for fittings etc. I ordered the dress from Savannah Miller at Debenhams.\u00a0I loved the long sleeved lace dress because it felt so quintessentially bohemian and British, but very elegant at the same time! It just fit straight off the hanger and was in the sale &#8211; what more could I ask
