Today\u2019s Love Story is not only visually delightful (just wait till you see the vibrantly colourful scenes), but also one that is a truly joyous celebration of the unity of two cultures. E + C\u2019s romantic Autumnal fusion wedding blended Indian wedding rituals with traditional English custom. Their day consisted of two ceremonies; firstly a Hindu ceremony, followed later by their civil ceremony (which of course saw an obligatory outfit and accessory change for all!)<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The groom\u2019s family wholly immersed themselves into the Hindu ceremonial rituals with a captivated enthusiasm. For many of their guests, it was the first Indian ceremony they had attended. Various traditional rituals took place throughout the day, each with deep spiritual and philosophical significance. Likewise, the bride\u2019s family and friends excitedly absorbed themselves into the afternoon\u2019s English wedding traditions. There are so many fascinating elements that are incorporated within a Hindu wedding ceremony. From The Baraat (the celebratory wedding procession of the Groom, family and friends, accompanied by a Dhol drummer) and Kanya Aagman (arrival of the bride), to the Jai Mala (where E + C exchanged sacred garlands) and Kanyadaan<\/em>\u00a0(a ritual where the bride is accepted as a part of her husband’s family) \u2026 and so, so much more in between.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
