\u2026 if you\u2019re engaged, huge congratulations to you both; you\u2019re going to love the wedding inspiration<\/a><\/span> that Love Story Inspiration<\/span><\/a> has to offer \u2026 and if you\u2019re not on a wedding journey, but just LOVE love and all things beautiful that\u2019s great, welcome too!\u00a0<\/p>

The Early Years (the passion begins)\u00a0<\/strong><\/h5>

I\u2019m so incredibly passionate about the romantic world of weddings! I\u2019ve been in the hospitality industry for 24 years (ahem!) and live and breathe this beautiful industry \u2013 I started working in a local pub washing pots at weekends aged 15 and was sucked into hospitality life from the get go. (I\u2019d get a beef roast at the end of each shift which was clearly one of the main attractions \u2026 food\u2019s always a winner for me!) I originally wanted to be a Chef and studied at Cambridge College for 2 years (to this day gutting an octopus is the main skill I took away from my time there. I then upped sticks from a sleepy town in the Norfolk to live in the very heart of the bright lights of Brum, where I completed my Hospitality degree, as well as working full time in a city restaurant (it\u2019s the Chinese in me that instilled an ethos of hard graft from a very young age!)<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Passion + Wedding Love\u00a0<\/b><\/h5>

My passion for weddings came from my role as Senior Wedding Consultant at Hampton Manor, a Michelin starred private country house, where I organised hundreds of incredible weddings. I adored meeting couples at the start of their wedding journeys and loved hearing their exciting and romantic proposal stories!\u00a0<\/p>

The Best industry EVER\u00a0<\/strong><\/h5>
I also loved the excitement of collaborating with outstanding suppliers \u2013 the wedding industry is an incredible community made up of mostly small businesses and the unity and passion that suppliers demonstrate to ensure every element of a wedding day comes together seamlessly was so inspiring. This was my dream job and I loved every moment of it! \u2026 But \u2018Mum Guilt\u2019 was kicking in – hospitality is renowned for looooong hours and weekend work and I needed to drastically change my work \/ family life balance (home schooling my little boys during lock down whilst working full time went out of the window on day 2!)\u00a0<\/div>

But I couldn\u2019t bear to leave the wedding industry \u2026<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
