The couple’s house in Derbyshire was the setting for their intimate home wedding, a relaxed and heartfelt celebration. ⁠

Tips for nailing your Champagne spray //⁠

1. Although it’s called a ‘Champagne’ spray, you don’t need to be using bottles of Bolly or Cristal - a cheap bottle of bubbles will do the trick, without the need for the hefty price tag ⁠
⁠
2. Make sure to do the spray outdoors (your venue owners won’t be best pleased having sticky fizz trailing down the walls or being trampled into their carpets)⁠
⁠
3. Always, always, always aim away from your photographer! You don’t want to take their eye out if a cork goes wayward, and equally, they don’t want to be a sticky mess for the rest of your wedding day!⁠
⁠
4. Pop the cork and 𝙞𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 place your thumb firmly over the opening, to keep the pressure in the bottle ⁠
⁠
5. Then shake, shake, shake, shake! (Keep that hole covered tightly)⁠
⁠
6. Move your thumb slightly so the Champagne sprays through the hole and continue to shake⁠
⁠⁠
⁠7. Smile and cheer while shaking the bottle so your photographer captures all the fun! ⁠🖤
